Kentucky WEG 2010 Contender - he made the long list!
Navarone & Melissa - combination qualified for the WEG.

*** "Navvy" is a dual Tom Quilty Buckle holder ***
2008 with USA rider Dean Hoalst and
15th Mwt 2009 with Melissa Longhurst.

The performance stallion, Lyle was used over Azaria and the result was the very promising colt/gelding foal Pioneer Park Navarone who has been retained.

Lyle was bred at Kelkette Park, renowned for their ability to breed and raise proven tough endurance stock.  He was by the iridescent grey stallion Kelkette Park Izak who placed 3rd Middleweight in the 1986 Tom Quilty Gold Cup held in South Australia; and out of Kelkette Park Lysa.

Lyle is a second generation proven Endurance horse and sire of endurance and show horses, himself completing over 3 500 km in the Heavyweight division with many wins and Best Conditioned awards to his credit. He was also judged “Most Versatile Arabian” at his one and only show outing in 1990 under Judge Ian Retallick of Rianda Arabians.

A potentially fast horse for the future, he will be nurtured and developed slowly over the next few seasons ensuring his longevity and firmly securing a career as a 3rd generation endurance horse.
